School Guidelines

To ensure every student gets the best possible experience, we have compiled a few essential guidelines. These policies aren’t just rules—they’re a framework that helps us maintain a structured, respectful, and supportive learning environment for both students and instructors. â€‹â€‹â€‹

A Note from Us

The best learning outcomes come from a synergistic relationship between students and instructors, built on commitment, consistency, and mutual respect. But we all fall short at times—that’s where these guidelines step in, acting as safety nets to ensure an optimal learning experience and, ultimately, a win-win situation for both students and teachers. Every policy is designed with student progress, instructor efficiency, and a balanced learning environment in mind.

Though everyone learns differently, we’ve observed some constants over time. Momentum matters. This doesn’t mean piling on more classes—it means staying engaged with the guitar, immersed in music, and maintaining a steady rhythm of learning, even if you meet your instructor only 3-4 times a month. Our goal is to cultivate that connection—one that lasts far beyond the lessons themselves.

By enrolling in our programs, you agree to abide by these policies.

Attendance & Punctuality

  • Students must join their sessions on time. If a student does not join within 10 minutes of the scheduled time and does not inform the instructor, the session will be counted as completed, and the instructor may log out.

  • Frequent Absences:

    • Missing three consecutive classes without prior notice will result in removal from the student roster.

    • Failing to communicate for 14 straight days will also result in removal.

  • If a student wishes to resume after removal, they may need to re-enroll and pay a reactivation fee of ₹1200.

Practice & Lesson Progression

  • For one-on-one lessons, if a student has not sufficiently practiced assigned material and is unprepared to move forward, the instructor may end the session early rather than engage in small talk.

  • Periodic assessments on technical skills and performance may be conducted in a complimentary session.

  • If a student fails to meet minimum progress expectations, they may be put on hold until they submit the required assignments.

Fees & Refund Policy

  • All fees are payable in advance and are non-refundable.

  • A free demo session is offered before enrollment to help students evaluate the teaching methodology.

  • Delayed renewal may result in being assigned a different instructor based on availability.

Rescheduling & Cancellations

  • Students may reschedule up to one-fourth of the sessions included in their package. Further rescheduling is at the instructor’s discretion.

  • Requests for rescheduling must be made at least 24 hours in advance. If requested later, it will be up to the instructor to grant it.

  • Missed sessions without prior notice will be counted as completed.

  • If a session is canceled due to the instructor’s unavailability, a make-up session will be provided.

Instructor Assignments & Changes

  • A student may be assigned a different instructor if their learning requirements evolve or if their current instructor is unavailable.

  • The school reserves the right to reassign instructors based on scheduling and progress.

Session Recording Policy

  • Students may request to record their session for personal use only, with the instructor's consent.

  • These recordings must not be shared or used for any purpose beyond personal review without permission.

Code of Conduct

  • Students are expected to maintain respectful behavior. Any rude, offensive, or inappropriate conduct toward instructors or administration will result in immediate termination without a refund.

  • Students should maintain a positive learning attitude and follow their instructor’s guidance.

Technical Issues & Support

  • If a student experiences technical difficulties (e.g., internet connectivity issues, device malfunctions), they must inform the instructor immediately.

  • If the issue persists for more than 10 minutes, the session may be rescheduled at the instructor’s discretion.

  • If the instructor faces technical issues, a make-up session will be provided at no additional cost.

Course Termination & Disciplinary Actions

  • The administration reserves the right to terminate lessons if a student:

  • Has irregular attendance or frequent long absences without valid justification.

  • Consistently fails to show progress, disregards instructions, or exhibits a lack of discipline.

  • In all matters related to student conduct, attendance, or lesson continuation, the administration’s decision is final and irrevocable.

General Guidelines for Optimal Learning

  • Students are highly recommended to attend classes on a larger screen (laptop, tablet, or monitor) for an optimal learning experience. Avoid using phone screens whenever possible.

  • A functional guitar and a stable internet connection are necessary for an uninterrupted learning experience.

  • Lessons are conducted online only and must be attended in a quiet, distraction-free environment.

  • Students should regularly check their emails or WhatsApp (whichever communication method is used) for class updates.
